Do you love spending the day catching waves or skate boarding? Being a tom boy and hating girly stuff? Tend to opt for tiny shorts over a sundress? Or do you just like the ultra casual style of a Surfer Girl? In this style anything can be thrown over a bathing suit, and while being super casual is also incredibly cute. Here are three outfits that are beach ready.
Outfit #1:
This is perfect for a hot day out and about. Classic Ray-Ban sunglasses go perfectly with the Brandy Melville Tank. The orange and white and Old Navy flip flops work well with the bright undershirt, from forever 21. The dark wash denim shorts are from Pac Sun.
Outfit #2
This outfit is great for after a swim, nice and loose. The boyfriend jeans are from gap and the lace top from Tilly's. The pink hoodie is from American Apparel and comes in so many colors. The leather flip flops are from Abercrombie and Fitch.
Outfit #3
This outfit is great for a day at the beach or walking down the boardwalk. These trendy shorts with the braided belt are from Abercrombie & Fitch, and the cable knit sweater is as well. Wear your bathing suit underneath if you are going to take a swim, like this one from Indah. Lastly, some cute sandals will bring it all together and these ones from forever 21 are great. If you feel like it, add some red Ray-Bans too.

Trend: Heavy Jewelry
Personally, I dislike wearing a lot of jewelry, even certain earrings I refuse to wear. In fashion, heavy jewelry is very in. Earrings that touch your shoulders, bangles the size of half your forearm, enough necklaces to lasso a horse. Here are some gorgeous pieces of jewelry that are sure to have you doing some heavy weight lifting.
Earrings:
These emerald colored earrings are from Kate Spade. heavy and with plenty of gold, these will stand out with everything. They are 3.5 inches long.
From Ralph Lauren, these ruby red earrings are 3 inches long. Also with a gold trim, these teardrop shaped stones will look best with minimal jewelry and your hair pulled back.
While the other earrings just shown are designer, these ones from forever 21 have a similar look, for only $5! These tiered earrings also come in black. Which ever color you like, these are dramatic and a stunning 4 inches long.
Necklaces:
This necklace from Urban Outfitters has a hammered finish and is a great statement piece. The necklace sits pretty high up, so wear a wide necked shirt with this.
This snake chain necklace from Michael Kors is very thick. Made out of brass and gold metal, this is the real deal for jewelry.
This less expensive option for a necklace is from H&M. Embodying the very new trend of collar-shaped necklaces, the pearl like appearance will go great with so many shirts. Simply pick out a shirt with no collar and snap this necklace on. For only $18.
Bracelets:
The previous jewelry has pretty much all been gold. What about silver? This one is a great layered cuff from Aqua. Stackable and simple, these will be bold and elegant at the same time.
From Troy Burch, the king of jewelry. This chunky bangle is made of brazilian wood and offers a different look than the traditional metal bangles. Instead of stacking, just wear this single bracelet as a statement piece.
This peach-gold bracelet is from Forever 21. The detail is pretty and the bracelet itself is stretchy to avoid tightness on the wrist. For only $8.
A note on choosing jewelry...
If you are tan, have dark or olive skin go with gold jewelry for a nice look. If you are pale, have light skin or a peachy tone wear silver or white jewelry.
